Everything about Go Mario Album totally explained

}} Go! is the third studio album by singer Mario released on December 10, 2007.

History

The album was originally scheduled to be released on November 28, 2006 under the title "Mario Barrett - Effortless". It was to be the first album in which Mario would use his full name. The album then had several release dates in 2007 including: April 4, May 8, July 31, August 21, October 9 and November 27 - ironically exactly a year after the first date announced. The album was released on December 10, 2007 in the United Kingdom and December 11, 2007 in the United States.
The album includes songs written and produced by The Neptunes, Stargate, Timbaland, Mr. Collipark, Polow Da Don, Akon and with guests such as Rich Boy and Juelz Santana. This is Mario's second album in UK that contains a Parental Advisory sticker because the UK edition of Turning Point already had it, but is his first album in the US to have it.
In an interview on DJBooth.net, Mario stated he worked with Scott Storch on the album, but won't include any of the material in the final release of Go. In another interview, Pharrell confirmed that he'd produced a ballad called "Faith" for the album but didn't make the final album cut.
The first single officially released was "How Do I Breathe", The music video, "How Do I Breathe," premiered May 23, 2007 on BET.
On Mario's official website, he asked fans to vote for the next single with the choices being "Why", "Kryptonite", or "Crying Out For Me". The second single officially released was "Crying out for Me", The music video premiered September 17, 2007 on BET.
Although not a single, Mario recently shot the video for the song "Do Right." It won't be released as the third single but just promotion for the album. It was recently confirmed by Mario himself on 106 & Park that the official third single will be "Music For Love" to be released sometime in 2008.
